Long-time folk DJ Bob Blackman's article 'Getting Airplay on Folk Radio Shows', originally written for Sing Out! magazine, volume 40 #3, and later updated for the folkradio.org website is a comprehensive guide for artists. Bob hosts The Folk Tradition over WKAR-FM in East Lansing, Michigan. His day job is running the computer system at Elderly Instruments, a retail and mail-order music store.
