ADAM AND LENA are an acoustic duo based out of Houston,TX. Their sound is a mixture of Americana, Folk and mellow Rock n' Roll. Lena,who provides the majority of the lead vocals, has a beautiful, soothing voiceand a laid back singing style.  Hervoice seems to effortlessly float over the stripped down accompaniment ofAdam's guitar and soft baritone harmonies. Adam, the principal songwriter,provides a wide variety of material with thought provoking lyrics that resonatethrough a vast spectrum of the human condition. Beautiful melodies, coupledwith engaging lyrics and Lena's delivery over an unembellished sound are atonce unique and captivating.
 
Between the two of them ADAM AND LENA have a broad rangeof influences including:  The Beatles,Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Nora Jones, Simon andGarfunkel, U2 and many more from traditional folk to old time jazz.
 
Since the middle of 2007 they have been performingaround Texas mostly as a duo but occasionally with other backing musicians.They play almost all original material but occasionally mix a cover song in,done in their own unique style. In March of 2008, independently through theirown label Sleepyland Records, ADAM AND LENA released their first cd called TEA BYMOONLIGHT. The cd is available at their live shows, website and  other online venues. They have alsobegun to enjoy some regional radio support.
