ALAN REID & ROB VAN SANTE "It was a rare treat to enjoy an intimate evening with such world class performers." KEITH FOLK CLUB "The guest artists for the evening were Alan Reid and Rob van Sante.....the latter on able accompaniment . This duo worked very well together on a rich collection of songs self-penned by Alan Reid, who borrows from the influences of poets, storytellers and playwrights." THURSO FOLK CLUB -- ALAN REID & ROB VAN SANTE Present a seamless fusion of folk music old and new. Alan's songs, written in the traditional vein, provide the focal point but the act also features songs from Rob, traditional material and selections from old Battlefield Band favourites. Their show combines the solid open tuning guitar playing of Rob, the distinctive keyboard and guitar playing of Alan and the fine harmony singing of both, ensuring a pleasant and entertaining night foe all.
